KHI Benefits Overview

KHI Solutions offers medical, dental, vision, voluntary life and AD&D, and pet insurance benefits options to eligible contracted employees. Benefit elections and changes are managed through ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifying Life Events KHI

Qualifying Life Events

Most benefit elections are made during your initial eligibility period or during an annual enrollment window. Outside of these periods, changes to your benefits are permitted only if you experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE).

Qualifying Life Events are significant life changes that allow you to enroll in or make changes to your benefits outside of the standard enrollment timeframe. Common QLEs include:

  • Marriage, divorce, or legal separation
  • Birth, adoption, or placement of a child
  • Loss or gain of other health coverage
  • Change in employment status affecting benefits eligibility

QLE changes must be initiated in your ADP Workforce Now account within thirty (30) days of the event, and documentation may be required to process the request.
